On October 11, 2013, Cray Huber partners Rodney VanAusdal and Mike Huber presented a seminar at the Illinois Podiatric Assistants Annual Meeting on responsible social media for medical professionals.
On September 30, 2013, Rodney VanAusdal and Mike Huber were guest instructors to the third-year podiatry school students at the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine/Rosalind Franklin University, discussing The Anatomy of a Malpractice Lawsuit.
- On September 26, Daniel K. Cray delivered a presentation entitled “Latest Efforts at Pushing the Diacetyl Envelope: Association to Causation to Alternatives” at the 2013 FETTI Conference in Chicago.
Jennifer N. Ross has been nominated to become a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’ Judicial Evaluation Committee. The Committee evaluates candidates for the judiciary including Cook County Associate Judge vacancies, judicial primaries and retention elections. The goals of the JEC’s evaluation process are to obtain a fair, accurate and complete evaluation of each candidate for judicial office. After undergoing an extensive investigation and interview process, the candidate is rated either “Not Recommended” or “Recommended” and such rating is published to the public at large.

Daniel K. Cray successfully defended two general surgeons in Will County, Illinois sued for medical negligence in causing the death of a 58-year-old female when they assertedly failed to recognize, diagnose and treat mesenteric artery disease and bowel ischemia after a vascular surgery.
