Cray Huber participated in the Communities That Care “Back-to-School” program.  This program provides new backpacks and school supplies to low income students grade 1-8 who, with encouragement and inspiration, have the opportunity to start and stay in school.

On June 1, 2018, Aimee K. Lipkis was appointed to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor and Locksmith Board.  Her appointment represents a partnership with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Rauner Administration.

Cray Huber is a Corporate INTL Global Awards Winner for 2018 as a Catastrophic Loss Litigation Law Firm of the Year in Illinois.

On February 12, 2018, Dan Cray presented at the IADC Mid-Year Meeting in La Quinta, CA on the topic of “Exit Strategies – Succession Planning with a Purpose.”

On January 16, 2018, Dan Cray was a general session panelist at The Gavel National Conference II in Boca Raton, FL and presented on the topic of “The Anatomy of a Successful Mediation.”

Aimee Lipkis presented on the topic of medical malpractice litigation to third-year podiatry students attending the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Chicago, Illinois, December 4.

On November 17, Daniel Cray participated in a panel discussion entitled, “The Reptile Theory – Cutting off the Head of the Snake:  How the Defense Can Effectively Combat Plaintiffs’ Reptile Tactics in Litigation” at the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society’s (CHRMS) Law Day.

On October 8, Anthony Sam volunteered as a station aid at the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon 25th mile marker.  Anthony supported the marathon by encouraging the runners to make it to the finish line with a 25th mile marker rally cry, passing out water to the runners, and even cooking a pancake breakfast for the 25th mile marker volunteers.  The 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon raised more than $16 million to support more than 200 charities in the Chicagoland area.

On September 14, members of Cray Huber participated in the Race Judicata 5K run/walk presented by Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.  Race Judicata is the only running event geared towards Chicago’s legal community with proceeds benefiting CVLS, which provides free legal services to Chicago’s poor and working poor families.
