At the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel’s Annual Meeting on June 21, 2013, Adam Carter was awarded the Presidenti’s Commendation for his leadership and service as part of the IDC’s Cost and Delay Task Force. The Task Force was created in order to provide the Cook County Court system with meaningful reforms to reduce cost and delay in litigation in response to the pilot program instituted by the Court for the simultaneous disclosure of plaintiff and defense experts in complex litigation, including product liabilty, medical malpractice, legal malpractice and construction/premises liability cases.
On May 29 and 30, Steve Heil and Adam Carter attended the ACI Aviation Claims and Litigation conference in Chicago, Illinois.
Adam Carter has been re-appointed to serve a second year as the Chair of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel’s Civil Practice Committee.
