Kelly J. Franklin

Kelly J. Franklin is an associate with Cray Huber, whose emerging practice focuses on complex civil litigation involving a wide variety of claims, including medical malpractice defense, business matters, and other general tort matters. Kelly knows that each of her clients has a story, and she makes sure that story is told to its fullest ¬ whether that be in or out of court.

Kelly earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and was awarded multiple trial advocacy and ethics awards. A downstate native, Kelly is also an alumna of Illinois State University where she graduated summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Dramaturgical Theatre Studies and Legal Studies. Before joining the firm, Kelly worked with a commercial litigation firm that represented clients throughout Chicagoland and downstate Illinois.

Outside of work, Kelly strongly believes in fostering a brighter legal community. She is a member of Illinois State University’s Attorney Advisory Board and Paralegal Advisory Committee. Kelly also serves as the Phi Alpha Delta District XIII Justice overseeing and mentoring Indiana and Illinois law students. She regularly volunteers to judge, write, and coach trial and moot court competitions across the country.
