Cray Huber's governmental liability practice includes representing public entities, public officials and employees in the various types of litigation that emerge for local units of government. Our practice has included legal representation and behind the scenes advice on matters ranging from civil rights claims, willful misconduct and negligence causes of action. We have experience defending units of government, including villages and water districts.

Employment Practices

A large portion of our employment law practice is intertwined with our governmental liability practice. We represent public entities, as well as private sector employers, in employment law matters pending in state court, federal court and the EEOC. We are experienced in a broad range of employment law litigation, including gender, age, race and disability discrimination cases, as well as wrongful or retaliatory discharge and due process claims.
