Michael D. Huber will be attending the TIDA (Trucking Industry Defense Association) Annual Meeting on October 11-14, 2011 in Las Vegas.

Adam C. Carter attended the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel's Annual Meeting on June 24, 2011, where he was installed as the co-chair of the IDC's Civil Practice Committee. The Civil Practice Committee of the IDC focuses on drafting and modifying legislation in Illinois, including Supreme Court Rules, and also determining if the IDC should weigh in on civil practice issues pending before the appellate courts and the Illinois Supreme Court.

Adam C. Carter attended the 45th Annual SMU Air Law Symposium at the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, TX on March 31 and April 1, 2011.

Adam C. Carter attended the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel's 2011 Spring Symposium on April 14, 2011.

On May 12, 2011, Daniel K. Cray and Scott D. Pfeiffer gave a presentation entitled "Popcorn Lung Litigation: Past, Present and Future" at the Emerging and Environmental Claims Managers Association conference in Captiva Island, Florida.

On March 31 and April 1, 2011, Adam Carter attended the Forty-Fifth Annual SMU Air Law Symposium at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

On April 14, 2011, Adam Carter attended the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel's 2011 Spring Symposium. The kenynote speaker was the Hon. Mary Jane Theis of the Illinois Supreme Court, and one primary topic addressed was whether Cook County, Illinois is truly a difficult venue for corporate defendants.

Michael D. Huber gave a presentation to Podiatry residents and attending physicians at St. Joseph's Hospital entitled, "To Practice or Malpractice? That is the Question" on October 6, 2010.

On September 29, 2010, Daniel K. Cray made a presentation to ProAssurance at the Hilton Hotel in Lisle, Illinois entitled, “Playing Nice in the Sandbox.”

On September 16, 2010, Daniel K. Cray and Scott D. Pfeiffer made a presentation to Resolute Mid-Atlantic in Philadelphia, PA on the topic of Diacetyl Litigation.
